Zach is well on his way towards being potty trained!  He pees in his little potty chair (and in the toilet at school) pretty regularly.  That’s the big excitement here lately.  So, we have been going through a lot of stickers and jellybeans, and did get to go out for pizza at a local pizza/arcade place.  He is just too cute, and is really getting into telling stories and making up songs.  A lot of times they are a stream-of-consciousness narrative of what is going on at the moment, but sometimes they get really creative.

We have started finishing our basement.  Our house is 10 years old, but the basement was never finished.  That was one of the things Dave was really excited about.  He has been working on framing up some walls so we can put in a bedroom and a bathroom.  Next up is the plumbing.  He is doing a really nice job and is learning a lot about construction.  Frank and Ray came to visit us last weekend to help out.

We have been able to see a lot of our extended families and are loving that.  We are also enjoying the beautiful fall weather we are having here!  Work is going well for both Dave and Gina.  We are both learning a lot of new things and are quite busy, but like what we are doing and work with great people.

New Pictures:

Here Zach is being the farie godmother from Shrek

He does "magic" where he grabs something, waves the wand, then puts something differnt in its place, then looks surpirzed.

This is what Zach looks like it when he overdose fun.

We all went to the local nature center and went on a canoe ride, he thought it was great and we didn't even get wet.

Here is the entrance to the "pooky cave", he liked it a lot but near the end, he said "I afraid", so we left. It was very cute.

Just being cute.

Being silly.

It looks more finished that this now, just a couple walls left in the bathroom and it is on to the plumbing and wiring.

Zach and buddie Annica shoot the breeze and have a cold one.

Then retire to watch a DVD.

Thats it for now. Sorry for the lame formatting, but something is better than nothing, eh?
